  1. A knuckleball pitcher normally starts with and 0-2 mental count against a batter, if the chatter has preceded him. Nolan Ryan was the best pitcher in history, I often wonder what it would have been like if he had developed a knuckler….THAT would have been a sight to behold……

  2. Emil "Dutch" Leonard made Phil and Joe dominant he was also a hard 1940s pitcher to hit. Also Hot Wilhelm should be on your list.

  3. To bad Wilbur Wood is not on this list.My late brother David would tease him that would not make it the Majors. He would come home from baseball practice and throw to the back wall of his parents garage.
